About Youna
Your experience is unique. Only you can live your life, no one else. No one else can walk your path. But if you are struggling or in pain, I can walk with you, and witness what you’re going through. I can tell you honestly and openly what I see, think, and feel, and add my intelligence and intuition to yours. Two pairs of eyes can see more expansively than one. You won’t need me to give you advice. I will accompany you, as you unravel the knots.
Not everything we experience as humans can be rendered into words. What can be spoken about can be clarified through witness. You don’t have to face it alone, if someone else can hear you, and help you bear it.
I find it rewarding to work with couples, groups, older adults, and those navigating life transitions; grief and loss; immigration histories; intergenerational, sexual, racial, or class trauma; relationship, friendship, or family conflict; integration of creative and artistic selves.
I have a background in languages, literature, and poetry. Being outdoors, spending time with animals, and listening to music helps me remain connected to my feelings. I welcome anyone who is interested in working with me, whatever your background or experience. If what you read here resonates with you, we can explore whether or not we’re the right fit, and if we’re not, I can help refer you to someone else who is.
"No feeling is final."
