Zaakirah (she/her) offers EMDR for rebellious, high-achieving women of color with depression — to get you out of those same old patterns of people pleasing, avoiding conflict, and playing small that keep you bound to a version of yourself that you don't recognize.
A self-identified recovering perfectionist, former classical Russian ballet dancer, and former NCAA Division I varsity athlete, Zaakirah brings a unique lived experience to her clinical work. She believes that when we each build a life worth living, we're doing our part to get closer to the world we want to be living in.
