In-Person KAP

KAP in our Los Angeles office: ketamine sessions with your therapist physically present from preparation through integration.

In-person Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy takes place in our Los Angeles office, where your therapist is with you in the room for preparation, the ketamine experience, and integration. Many clients value the embodied presence of a clinician, the curated environment, and the clear boundary between “session space” and home life.

What to expect

Preparation sessions establish rapport, set intentions, and review what may arise during medicine work. On dosing days, you rest comfortably while your therapist remains available for the duration of the experience—offering grounding, gentle guidance when appropriate, and a steady relational anchor. Integration sessions help you make sense of imagery, emotions, and shifts in perspective, and turn them into durable change with support between sessions as needed.

Why choose in-person

  • Direct co-regulation and nonverbal cues that some clients find essential
  • A dedicated therapeutic setting designed for focus and safety
  • Clear structure for those who want separation between deep inner work and daily routines

Collaboration and screening

KAP always involves collaboration with a prescribing clinician and thorough medical and psychological assessment. In-person KAP may be recommended when clinical factors, personal preference, or the nature of your goals point toward onsite care. Your team will discuss whether this format—or virtual or concierge options—is the best fit.
